The composition of our design project

So, dear friends!

If you have made it to this page, then you already have an idea of the subject, order, and
peculiarities of design planning. Here, let us present my version of project development and the
typical structure of our projects.

If we divide the design process into stages according to document flow, we can conditionally
distinguish the following stages:

STAGE I INFORMATION GATHERING, DEVELOPMENT, AND APPROVAL OF STYLE AND CONCEPT:

  1. Technical assignment for the development of the design project (includes a questionnaire,
functional zoning, photo fixation of the object, references to interior style and concept)
  2. Measurements plan.

STAGE II DETAILED DESIGN (SKETCH PROJECT):

  1. Furniture layout decision.
  2. Detailed geometry of the space in sketches.
  3. Principal selection of materials, coordination of schemes and technical tasks from the contractors.

STAGE III 3D VISUALIZATION:

  1. Album of 3D interior visualization.

STAGE IV WORKING PROJECT:

  1. Drawings documentation set
  2. Technical assignments for the development of engineering projects(if necessary).
  3. Lists of the materials .
  4. Tasks for the development of individual and author’s products.

THE TYPICAL WORKING PROJECT DOCUMENTATION INCLUDES:

  1. Measurements plan.
  2. Demolition plan.
  3. Partition installation plan.
  4. Furniture plan.
  5. Floor plan.
  6. Underfloor heating plan.
  7. Ceiling plan.
  8. Lighting fixture layout plan.
  9. Switch and lighting control plan.1
  10. Plan for positioning outlets and low voltage electrical outputs with wall attachments.
  11. Principal ventilation and air conditioning plan.
  12. Principal water supply distribution plan.
  13. Wall elevations in construction necessary places.
  14. Detailed bathroom drawing with agreed and approved tile layout.
  15. Room explications.
  16. Nodes of complex and structural design solutions.
  17. Sketches and dimensions ofdecorative architectural elements.
  18. Sketch solution for built-in furniture.
  19. Statement of finishing materials with areas and names.
  20. Statement of filling doorways.
  21. Statement of filling window openings.

Why do I use the term “typical,” you may ask? Because the design project is always individual, and the composition of the working documentation album may vary depending on many factors, among which:

  1. Your requests (the scope and composition of the project depending on the service package you have chosen).
  2. The overall situation at the object (for example, if you have already built partitions when you
came to us, then plans for dismantling and installation are not needed).
  3. The style of the design project (for example, classicism implies more decorative elements in
wall finishes, which will be reflected in a greater number of wall elevations).
  4. The presence of non-standard author’s solutions (the more of them, the more wall elevations/detailed sketches will be needed). Work not included in the list, if necessary and with the agreement of the parties, is carried out on the basis of additional agreements.

Below, I am attaching a set of documentation albums for one of our projects.

So, based on our collaboration, you will receive a complete set of documentation sufficient toapprove the redesign, carry out high-quality repairs, and ultimately enjoy the comfort and beautyof your premises!

And if your time is valuable to you, and you are not ready for endless communication withbuilders, you can ordera package of services that includes author supervision. With authorsupervision, we monitor the progress of the finishing works of the specified premises, the goal ofwhich is to ensure that the interior matches the visualizations presented.

For those whoappreciate comprehensive services, we also provide interiorimplementation service.
